Testimonial: As an Adult returning back to riding after 20 years I found I had all the enthusiasm but not much in terms of technique. I bought a horse and I felt I needed to do him more justice by getting some proper lessons, as we were about as green as each other. First I needed to know what “correct” felt like, Chris had the perfect answer – Nick, her fabulous schoolmaster. A month’s worth of lessons took me from simple arena craft exercises, upward and downward transitions to leg yielding, flying changes, Travers and much more than I dreamed I would do. We covered many things in each lesson which progressed in a logical way, building on each exercise. One of my biggest issues was the canter. Nick was fantastic and looked after me the whole way which enabled me to relax and “just get over it”. Chris gives great straight up and down to earth instruction. She explains things in a way you can relate to rather than pure “horse talk”. I still have much to learn but I know that I now have a strong foundation to build on. Angela |
